A highly regarded Chiropractor for more than 37 years, Dr. Mahavir Oza is a graduate from the prestigious Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. His dedication to the art, science and philosophy of Chiropractic care, along with his commitment to life-long learning and advancement, form the pillars of his practice.
Dr. Oza practices in Pontiac, Michigan U.S.A. and in Windsor, Ontario Canada, and is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Essex County Chiropractic Association, Logan Alumni Association and the Michigan Chiropractic Society.
I did my undergraduate studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I was a biology major. I then attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri where I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (B.Sc.) degree in April 1982. In December 1983, I received my Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.
I have been in practice since graduation. In the course of my practice I have treated professional models and athletes such as marathon runners, joggers, professional skaters from the Ice Capades and triathletes. Also, in the past I have treated athletes at the Windsor Classic Indoor Games for the Physically Disabled. Our patients’ ages range from a day old infant to 104 years! I have 18 years of experience working in nursing homes and treating geriatric patients.
I also have many years of experience in treating injured patients for the Worker's Compensation Board, athletic injuries, personal injuries such as slip and fall accidents, and motor vehicle accident injuries. Furthermore, I treat patients for general Wellness Care.
Our office provides services in English and Spanish, as well as Hindi, Marwari, Gujarati, and French.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading professional journals, playing Sudoku and chess, and I enjoy scuba diving, boating and alpine skiing.
